Topic: "The Chesapeake in Word and Image"
Presenter: Writer Tom Horton
Tom Horton and Photographer David Harp have combined their talents for three decades to write about and photograph the creatures that inhabit the Chesapeake Bay, including the human cultures of the islanders and watermen who depend on the Chesapeake's natural resources. In pictures and stories, they tell the story of the Chesapeake, from its geologic origins, to its present day status, to its future.
This is the second of three seminars to be presented at Salisbury University during the Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 academic year. These seminars are open to everyone.
Registration for each seminar is $30 or if you register for all three - $75 for all three. |
